Wicked Temptations is an alternative neo-burlesque showcase based in Joplin, MO. We are Joplin's only operating burlesque show, and as we are based in a small town without many opportunities to perform, our show is a labor of love for both the art form, as well as our local alternative community. We strive to have a diverse cast, and to foster a space where people are safe to be anything but bigoted. Wicked Temptations celebrates the diversity of our bodies and aims to show our performers and audience alike that you can feel sexy in whatever body you're in.

Wicked Temptations made it's debut March of 2022, produced by Luxx Frankentien, who was joined soon thereafter by Vendetta and Viper Vice, and eventually by Ruth Sinsburg. With limited resources, the show's production has continually been a display of teamwork, ingenuity, and determination. There were many roadblocks along the way, but with the support of our team and our community, we've produced 12 shows as of the end of 2023.
